Lanna opened in 1993 as the first British curriculum school in Chiang Mai. It teaches the National Curriculum of England with Cambridge qualifications for ages 2 to 18, on one campus in Hang Dong at the foot of the mountains, with a pool and STEAM labs. Students come from over 30 nationalities.
Prem opened in 2001 in Mae Rim, north of Chiang Mai, on a 100 acre campus with a forest school and a farm. It teaches the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes for ages 3 to 18, offers day places and weekly or full boarding, and enrols students from 34 nationalities.
A campus of bamboo and earth buildings in Hang Dong, south of Chiang Mai, run on Buddhist values such as kindness and mindfulness. British curriculum through IGCSE, with the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13. Gardening, outdoor learning and Thai culture are part of every week.
